ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL

68 submissions were considered by the Architectural Control Committee. 54 were approved and 14 were deferred or disapproved.

COVENANT ENFORCEMENT

89 issues have been resolved, 495 properties are being pursued and 2 new cases were referred to legal counsel.

Cycle VII vacant lot mowing for Cottonwood Valley is complete.

Inspected 21 properties in conjunction with estoppel or resale certificate requests.

COMMON PROPERTY

Winter color rotation was implemented.

Commercial field mowing was completed.

Tree pruning was completed on O’Connor between S.H. 114 and Northgate Drive.

ALARM MONITORING/PATROL

Completed review of current false alarm procedures. Further adjustments are being made to lower false response rate.

As of October 28th, Dispatch processed 2,628 alarms for the month. Patrol had 309 alarm responses. 241 of these incidents were deemed as "false alarms" following response.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Provided editorial assistance for Las Colinas insert of the Dallas Business Journal, which was released in mid-October.

Assisting with general get-out-the-vote efforts for the election.

Served as lead coordinator of the Mustangs 20^th Anniversary event.

Reviewing alternative distribution methods for LCA newsletter.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Collected $5,021,404 (97.45%) of 2004 assessments through October 28th.

2005 budget preparation is underway.

Completed 20 statements of account, 6 estoppels and 15 resale certificates through October 28^th.

Database maintenance included 54 property ownership changes and 462 updates.

Generating Fraud and Risk assessment procedures for operations manual.

Began requests for proposal process to identify an accounting firm to conduct the annual audit.
