ARCHITECTURAL
CONTROL
·
103 submissions were considered by the ACC
(Commercial and Residential Review Committees).
93 were approved and 10 were deferred or disapproved.
·
Three new commercial projects were approved –
Krispy Kreme, North MacArthur Blvd. at Market Place Drive; office/retail
facility at North MacArthur Blvd. and Ranch View Drive; office/retail facility
at North MacArthur Blvd. and Tuscan Drive.
·
11 new homes were approved (six in Hackberry
Creek, two in Cottonwood Valley, and three in University Park).
·
$9,310 in submission fees were collected; $58,980
collected year-to-date.
COVENANT
ENFORCEMENT
·
86 issues have been resolved,
763 properties being pursued, and three referred to legal.
·
Continuing work on
architectural guidelines and standards.
·
Review of night lighting
of commercial buildings will be performed over the next two weeks.
COMMON
PROPERTY
·
Rebuilt pedestrian
bridge in Rochelle Park.
·
Fall color rotation was completed.
·
Partnered with the Las
Colinas Parks Foundation to relocate two 4" Live Oak trees from the
construction area at Northgate Drive and Rochelle Boulevard.
·
Cycle 7 field mowing was
completed.
ALARM
MONITORING/PATROL
·
Completed update of the
UL-required Station Disaster Preparedness Handbook.
·
Dispatch processed 2,821
alarms and patrol responded to 279 incidents as of 10/28/03. 212 incidents were deemed as “false
alarms.”
COMMUNITY
RELATIONS
·
Completed
the annual report (October 6th annual meeting highlights) for the
November newsletter.
·
Assisted
with fundraising efforts for the Irving Citizens for Economic Growth Committee.
·
Participated
in an advertising partnership with the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce
and the Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau to recognize AAA Texas and NEC in
the 10-24-03 Dallas Business Journal.
·
Continuing
to meet with potential partners for a Las Colinas Marketing Alliance (most
recently with Belo Marketing Solutions).
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
·
Met with Chuck Bailey (Capital
Consultants) to review association issues from the last session of the state
legislature and to discuss upcoming legislation.
·
Collected 98.60% of 2003
assessments through 10/30/03.
·
Developed 2004 budget
and finalized five year pro forma.
·
Completed 29 statements
of account, 3 estoppel certificates and 10 resale certificates through
10/30/03.
·
Database maintenance
included 78 property ownership changes and 461 updates.
