The Architectural Control Committee considered a total of 122 submissions during the month. 105 of those were approved, while the remaining 17 were either deferred or disapproved.
An additional building was approved for the AMLI Phase II project at La Villita. The 18-unit building increases the total number of for-lease units to 306.
14 new single family homes and one town home building were approved in the following developments: Emerald Valley (1), The Enclave (1) La Villita (12) and Hunters Ridge (One six-unit town home building).
Submission fees for the month totaled $13,185.00. Year-to-date, $71,020.00 has been collected.
COVENANT ENFORCEMENT
216 enforcement cases were resolved during the month. Currently 782 properties are being pursued and/or monitored. 27 of these properties have been referred to legal counsel, of which three are in litigation.
42 properties were inspected in conjunction with Estoppel and/or Resale Certificate requests.
COMMON PROPERTY
Rosita Park: Installed new landscaping at the park entrance and around the park sign.
Cycle four of the field mowing was completed.
Planted trees at the entrance of the common area adjacent to Santiago Court.
ALARM MONITORING/PATROL
Represented the Association at a meeting with the Irving Police Department’s beat officer for the University Hills area.
As of July 27th, dispatch processed 2,803 alarms and incidents. The department recorded 223 false alarm responses during the period.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Assisted with the Iron Girl Triathlon. The event brought approximately 800 people to Las Colinas for the two-day event.
Providing editorial assistance for the upcoming Dallas Business Journal Las Colinas supplement.
Producing new LCA brochure.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
Collected $5,241,918 (88%) of 2006 assessments as of July 28th.
Completed 56 statements of account, 4 Estoppel Certificates and 37 Resale Certificates through July 28th.
Database maintenance included 104 property ownership changes and 312 updates.
Documents for the Annual Meeting, which will take place on Monday, October 2nd, will be mailed to the membership during the second week of August.
