ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL
- 64 submissions were considered by the commercial and residential review
committees. 51 were approved and 13 were deferred or disapproved.
- Two new homes in Cottonwood Valley were approved.
- Plans for Make-A-Wish Foundation’s "The Wishing Place" were approved. This
new North Texas headquarters will be comprised of 13,616 SF on a 1.137 acre
tract of land in LaVillita.
- $4,380 in submission fees were collected; year-to-date $30,340 in fees
have been collected.
COVENANT ENFORCEMENT
- 73 issues have been resolved, 433 properties are being pursued and three
were referred to legal counsel.
- The fifth cycle of vacant lot mowing in Cottonwood Valley completed.
COMMON PROPERTY
- Completed electrical and central irrigation controller installation on the
Northgate grade separation project.
- Rewired irrigation controllers on Story Road.
- Coordinated with the City of Irving regarding the tree relocation of two
Live Oak trees on O'Connor Blvd. due to a new turn lane being installed for
Campion Trail Park.
- Completed irrigation renovations to allow for new turning lanes on Royal
Lane and O'Connor Blvd.
- Commercial field mowing completed.
ALARM MONITORING/PATROL
- Completed replacement of the Central Station’s alarm monitoring receivers.
The upgrading of the receiving equipment will allow for the acceptance of
additional alarm types and for future growth.
- As of July 29th, dispatch processed 4,987 alarms of which patrol had 341
responses. 260 incidents were deemed as "false alarms" following response.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
- Hosted residential liaison meeting which seven of the ten villages were
represented.
- Conducted a presentation to commercial office property managers.
- Collecting and analyzing online communications survey results.
- Assisting Las Colinas Marketing Alliance with its launch.
- Providing editorial assistance for the Las Colinas insert of the Dallas
Business Journal.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
- Collected $4,639,494 (89.88%) of 2004 assessments through July 29th.
Delinquent assessment notices will be distributed August 17th.
- The annual meeting mailing is being prepared for distribution on August 9th;
vote tally process and meeting preparation to begin.
- Completed 14 statements of account, 6 estoppels and 22 resale certificates
through June 29th.
- Database maintenance included 25 property ownership changes and 285
updates.
