ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL

67 submissions were considered by the commercial and residential review committees. 53 were approved and 14 were deferred or disapproved.

Three new homes were approved (one in Cottonwood Valley and two in Hackberry Creek) as well as three town homes were approved.
Plans for a new four-story, 120 unit Springhill Suites were approved. The new hotel will be located at the corner of Highpoint and Meridian Drives.
$4,585 in submission fees was collected; year-to-date $25,810 in fees have been collected.

COVENANT ENFORCEMENT

200 issues have been resolved, 584 properties are being pursued.

Fourth cycle of vacant lot mowing in Cottonwood Valley completed.

The process for rotating enforcement representatives was completed. (Covenant Enforcement representatives rotate areas of responsibilities every 18 months).

COMMON PROPERTY

Commercial field mowing completed.

Summer plant material was installed in all flowerbeds.

Second turf fertilization was completed.

Installed new centralized irrigation controllers on O'Connor from Mills Lane to Northgate Drive.

ALARM MONITORING/PATROL

Completed the first phase of a new off-site Disaster Recovery Program in conjunction with SIMS, the LCA’s security software vendor.

As of June 29, Dispatch processed 3,434 alarms of which patrol had 330 responses. 239 incidents were deemed as "false alarms" following response.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Assisted Irving Citizens for Economic Growth (ICEG) with opportunities for interested LCA members to sign the petition calling for a local option election. ICEG submitted 14,000 signatures to Dallas County of which 12,161 were validated.

Hosted Las Colinas Marketing Alliance meeting.

Preparing for launch of LCA employee newsletter.

Researching LCA communications effectiveness via an on-line random survey of members.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Special meeting of members took place on June 15 to consider amendments to Supplementary Declarations 73 and 163. Proposed changes to SD 73 passed and changes to SD 163 did not pass.

Collected $3,524,919 (68.10%) of 2004 assessments through June 29.

Processing federal Form 550 (for Retirement Plan & Cafeteria Plan) which is due on July 30.

On-line payments for member assessments (using LCA Web site) has been activated.

Completed 27 statements of account, 2 estoppels and 15 resale certificates.

Database maintenance included 45 property ownership changes and 602 updates.
