The Architectural Control Committee considered a total of 87 submissions during the month. 73 of those were approved, while the remaining 14 were either deferred or disapproved.
A total of 11 new single-family homes were approved in the following villages: Cottonwood Hills (5), The Enclave (1), University Park (3) and La Villita (2).
Five townhouse buildings, comprising of 24 units, were approved in the Hunters Ridge development.
Submission fees collected for the month amounted to $8,285. The year-to-date total is $48,875.
COVENANT ENFORCEMENT
59 enforcement cases were resolved during the month. Currently 662 properties are being pursued and/or monitored. 22 of those properties have been referred to legal counsel, of which two are in litigation.
51 properties were inspected in conjunction with Estoppel and/or Resale Certificate requests.
COMMON PROPERTY
Completed installation of all irrigation controllers throughout the development.
Sidewalk repairs for 2006 were completed.
Spring trees were replaced.
ALARM MONITORING/PATROL
Updated all manuals and procedures as required bi-annually by the Underwriters Laboratories.
Dispatch processed 2,544 alarms during the month. Patrol responded to 293 alarms, of which 230 were deemed "false alarms."
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Serving as a sponsor for the City’s July 4th event.
Updated statistics and Las Colinas profile for Linda Harper-Brown and State legislators.
Planning a forum to educate realtors about the Las Colinas Association.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION
Collected $1,366,783 (23%) of 2006 assessments as of May 31st.
Completed 30 statements of account, two Estoppel Certificates and 41 Resale Certificates through May 31st.
Database maintenance included 78 property ownership changes and 223 updates.
Canvassing and vote tabulation of Supplementary Declarations are underway.
