Charles Schmidt introduced Jack Angel from the City of Irving.  Mr. Angel said that the study for a stop light at Rochelle and Hidalgo had been completed by no decision has been made to install a light for motorists and pedestrians.  He reported that the Northgate project had been slowed because the waterline laterals were too high and all the water lines had to be replaced, including a 1000 feet of irrigation system.  A new storm sewer was added on San Mateo.

February 1 is the new scheduled completion date originally planned for January 15.  Sidewalks and cleanup should be completed by the end of February.

Mr. Angel stated that when the grade crossing project starts, sometime this summer.  Northgate will be closed from Rochelle to Carl Road.  They are awaiting the TRE right-of-way.  The flags on Rochelle define the right of way for the grade crossing and identify any trees that will be lost.  One-year notice is needed for street resurfacing.

John Taylor presented the slide program about the structure of our UHAOH he developed to present at the citywide meeting Tuesday night at 6:30 in the conference room.  It is a very impressive body of work.

The Christmas party was a huge success—many people participated and enjoyed the buggy rides around the neighborhood.  It will be necessary to find ways to get more residents enthused to decorate their homes and have a critique on how to improve our gatherings.

We need to set a date for our Spring Fling
