John reported on the progress made on the newsletter.  He stated that our neighborhood needs our own registered domain name.  He suggested  UniversityHills.net.  We will need to pay six months in advance for the web page. Items suggested for the newsletter were: a map of University Hills, a grid for the block captains, Sign-Topper Program, a report of lost and strayed animals, 2001 fix-up

TEXDOT has become involved with our public works for the final improvement of Rochelle, 114 to O’Connor, north of 114;   Northgate’s new storm sewer lines in the south bound lanes (Wingren to Santa Clara) will take 6-8 months and this is to be tied into Pea Patch Lake.

The update on Wingren Park reports that the statue is lighted and the plaques are being reset in concrete inside the planter boxes.

The city approved the grant proposal, $1,800 for our street signs.  John will contact Bobby Ortiz with our traffic department about the details.

The by-laws for UHAOH have been filed with the state.  Don needs a copy of our IRS tax number.

Respectfully submitted,

Esther Nachimson, Secretary
