ACTIVITY REPORT

April, 2005

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL

The commercial and residential review committees considered 80 submissions in April. 71 were approved and 9 were either deferred or disapproved.

17 new homes were approved in the following developments: La Villita (15), The Enclave (1), and Fairway Vista (1).

Construction plans were approved for Chapps Hamburger Café, a 6,688 sq. ft., single story restaurant, located at 941 MacArthur Park Drive.

Submission fees for April totaled $12,540. $29,820 in fees has been collected year-to-date.

COVENANT ENFORCEMENT

101 issues have been resolved and 571 properties are being pursued.
20 properties were inspected in conjunction with estoppel and resale certificate requests.

COMMON PROPERTY

Replaced electrical box and wiring at the Flower Clock.

New central irrigation controllers were placed at Meadow Creek Drive and Walnut Hill Lane.

Pavers were installed in medians on MacArthur Boulevard at Byron Nelson Way.

Cycle two commercial field mowing enforcement was completed.

ALARM MONITORING/PATROL

Annual UL inspection of the Central Station was completed successfully.

Implemented procedure to notify Irving Fire Department when fire alarms systems are placed into test mode for a period of more than six hours. This notification is meant to assist the fire department in tracking fire alarm activity.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Co-sponsored the Irving Candidates Forum, produced necessary materials and assisted Chamber staff with logistics throughout the event.

Implemented the following "Get out the Vote" efforts: blast emails, included info in newsletter, placed "vote today" signs throughout Las Colinas and obtained magnetic signs for each LCA vehicle.

Produced newsletter publication for member-wide postal distribution.
Assisted and participated in the University Hills Spring Fling event.
Created informational piece for two Las Colinas tours.
Served as a sponsor for the 10^th Annual Irving Police Department Awards Banquet.

FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Collected $5,108,448 (99.17%) of the 2004 assessments as of April 30, 2005.

2005 Assessments to be mailed out during the week of May 5, 2005.

Vote canvassing and tabulation for S.D. 163 and 131 underway.

Request for Proposals to be distributed for annual audit.

Completed 27 statements of accounts, 5 estoppel certificates and 22 resale certificates through April 30th.

Database maintenance included 49 ownership changes and 773 updates.
